When Community Leads the Way: Felicity Jack’s Fundraising Luncheon for Ukraine ❤️

On Sunday, 8 September 2024, we were honoured to attend a fundraising luncheon hosted by Felicity Jack at her home—an event she initiated and organised with remarkable generosity and care. Surrounded by a large group of friends and supporters, the gathering was a powerful reminder of how community-driven action can create real impact.

The Ukraine Support Fund was invited to present at the luncheon, sharing insights into our current work, urgent needs, and upcoming projects. Having the opportunity to speak directly with people who are deeply engaged, informed, and committed to helping Ukrainians affected by war is incredibly meaningful to our team.

Our CEO, Natalia, presenting at the luncheon

Events like this are made possible by people who not only support our work personally, but also take the initiative to bring others together and inspire collective action. Felicity is one of those incredible individuals, and we are deeply grateful for her leadership, generosity, and trust in our mission.

Being among a group of compassionate, thoughtful people who keep their finger on the pulse of unfolding events in Ukraine—and who are willing to stand up and help those who are struggling—is truly invaluable to us.

On behalf of the entire USF team, thank you, Felicity, and thank you to everyone who attended and supported the luncheon. Your kindness strengthens our work and gives hope where it’s needed most. 💙💛

Natalia, Felicity and Orysia
